Penny Dex has joined Team Ravin as the Post 134 Service Officer!
Penny is a GWOT Army Veteran, who served from 2004-2008 as a 68Q, pharmacy technician, in the warrior transition units of BAMC, Fort Sam Houston and RACH, Fort Sill.
In 2020 Penny founded Rogue Permaculture and Resilient Veterans where she continues to serve as the Director. She has worked for over a decade on research and advocacy at the intersection of climate change, human rights, veterans affairs, permaculture, and welcoming our warriors all the way home. Her advocacy has resulted in shifts in public policy at the state and national level. Penny concurrently works as a field organizer at Common Defense. She has been organizing veterans VA disability claims with great success for the past decade, and it is our good fortune to have her continue this advocacy for Post 134.
Penny is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
