Barry Larrain – Barry retired from the U.S. Army with 34 years of service. He is an American Legion Life Member, and has been a member of Post 134 for 14 years. While in uniform he deployed to Vietnam, Okinawa, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Iraq. As the Commander, Barry is committed to advancing the ideals envisioned by the founders when Post 134 was chartered in 1947, “Help our veterans and their families to strive for the principles for which our sons gave their lives for their country.”
1st Vice Commander
Robin Eckstein – Robin is an Army Veteran, who honorably served including a tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Robin has been a member of several veteran service organizations to include the VFW, DAV, and American Legion for over 10 years. She has been a resident of Portland, Oregon for 4 years and is happy to call Portland her home.
Patrick Bardel – Patrick is a Marine Veteran, who served in the Marine Corps Field Artillery. He is an alumnus of the University of Oregon and Portland State University. Patrick is a native Oregonian and has been a member of F&J Ravin Post #134 for four years.
Post Chaplain & Service Officer
Walter Ghant – Walter is an Air Force Veteran. He was awarded a Master of Divinity Degree from Howard University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion with a Minor in Political Science from Warner Pacific College. Walter is also the Veterans Resource Center Director at Portland State University.
